Back to school ...

Our last fun craft of the summer was decorating our toolshed for 'first day of school' pictures. It was about the nicest way to say farewell to summer and hello to 'back in business'.

My Sweet Little Boy ... he is such a big boy. I cried when I dropped him off at Pre-K (but then again I have never not cried at the first day of school). His teacher looked at me and asked 'Is this hard for you?' Hmm... let me think ...

Such a little man ... I totally dig his shirt and he knows it.

Had to show off the guns ... he has been working out all summer lifting weights and doing pushups (that more look like butt raises ... none the less, the sweetest and funniest thing to watch). He is pure gristle and haven't met his match yet in running.

And Hello there ... young lady. By the way, this is a face a see quite a bit of ... and the one below too (that one appears when she has no idea where things are ... great practice for school for sure). My Darling Lutza is such a GIRL ... love her beyond words.

She has hard time with shoes .... even in October (they just don't seem to be able to stay on her feet). Her Gypsy soul is so special ... I have a lot to learn from her.

Oh, and this boy ... Mr. Augustus. He started Kindergarten and become such a responsible young man. He spent the summer inventing things, playing hard and being free and I am so impressed by him every day.

He is ripped too ;o) and can pump real pushups out like there is no tomorrow (staying fit in our house is apparently a big deal).

Ready to rock the world in his cool shoes .... I adore him to the core ... the way he was made.

Here they go ...
